In February 2017, D.C. United announced Audi of America will be the naming partner of the new soccer-specific stadium in Southwest D.C., now officially named Audi Field.
Audi Field will be the home for D.C. United, the most decorated franchise in U.S. soccer history and the most championed professional team in the District of Columbia. Opening in 2018, the new stadium will also host a variety of other sporting and cultural events, community activities, and concerts.
We worked through the night with the teams at D.C. United and Audi of America to produce this spot, which announced the name of their new home and captured the excitement of two legendary brands coming together. The video was distributed across D.C. United's press and social channels with the naming announcement, and was widely shared by MLS fans and media outlets.
